ONTARIO, CA (DECEMBER 17, 2002) - Bluefield Associates, Inc., the Ontario,
California-based manufacturer of Clear Essence Cosmetics recently announced the appointment of
Infotainment Media as their exclusive media buying and product placement agency. The Clear Essence
skin care system, which targets men and women of color, is distributed in Europe, Africa, South
America, Canada and the United States.
Infotainment Media will be responsible for integrating the Clear Essence product
lines into prime time television shows and major feature films. Additionally, the agency will be
expanding the national roll out of the company's 30 second spot campaign in order to support the
high demand for products in their retail markets.
According to Eileen Simms, president of Infotainment Media, "the initial phase of
the media plan will target the UPN prime time line-up in order to capture African American consumers." On the subject of product placement, she went on to say, "the distinctive packaging and loyal customer base makes Clear Essence an excellent candidate for product placement. We are currently in negotiations to integrate their products into prime time sitcoms and major movies which will be seen as early as first quarter 2003."
