ONTARIO,
Calif. -- May 21, 2003 -- Bluefield Associates, Inc.
was part of "The Exchange: Business to Business Expo,"
at the eighth annual Black Enterprise/ Microsoft Entrepreneurs
Conference, which took place at the Gaylord Opryland
Resort in Nashville, Tennessee from May 14-May 18.
Representatives
from major U.S. Corporations such as American Airlines,
AT&T, BellSouth, Federated Department Stores, FEDEX,
General Motors, IBM, Marathon Oil Corp., Miller Brewing
Co., Office Depot, Pepsi Cola, Schieffelin & Somerset,
JC Penney Corp., IBM Corp., Microsoft, Hennessy, Wachovia
Bank, Wendy's International, as well as representatives
from the State of Tennessee and the Tennessee Valley
Authority were on hand for the four day seminar and
networking event.
Clear
Essence Cosmetics USA, Inc. representatives Jenny Cheng,
VP of Sales & Marketing and Vivianne Orji, Marketing
Communications Assistant, attended the expo for Bluefield
Associates, Inc. Clear Essence products were displayed
at booth 227 and gift bags were given to men and women
who visited the booth. The expo gave Clear Essence representatives
the opportunity to inform customers about the company
and its products, network with procurement specialists
from leading corporations, and share ideas with fellow
entrepreneurs.
Black
Enterprise and their title sponsor Microsoft hosted
this time-honored event designed with the business needs
of future, young and top executives in mind and structured
to keep their fingers on the pulse of today's business
trends. The 2003 conference theme, New Rules, New Players:
Changing The Face of Business, offered opportunities
for networking, strategies for wealth building, and
a forum for fostering business to business alliances.
During
those four days, the conference gave unprecedented access
to the best and brightest in business. There was a diverse
group of about 50 event speakers who spoke on topics
ranging from technology to spirituality and how each
of these can contribute to the economic success of your
enterprise. Panelists were also present to discuss the
current economic environment, focusing on corporate
accounting practices and the war on terrorism. One of
the speakers was Ed Gordon, writer, producer and broadcaster
from Black Entertainment Television.
The
event ended with the 8th Anniversary Awards Gala Dinner,
teenpreneur dance party and the after glow party hosted
by Hennessey and Tanqueray.
